This is the design of lcd, led suppose to be, the leds are so small in size, each 1mm or less than 1 mm:
the leds are adjustable led, such as the voltage can be controlled to stay in the color for a certain time such as it can be controlled by voltage or other things for its color. For touch screen there will be touch electronics attached to, for led, lcd function with button the leds will be connected to buttons and electronic circuit.
You will see four led in the picture below,
first led is red, yellow, blue,
second led is orange, pink, brown
third led is purple, dark blue, green
fourth led is white, dark green, black colours
I figure out it is hard to mix all colour so it will be when you need only brown colour you only switch on the brown colour and switch off other colours, same to other colours, you use one colour switch on the rest of colours switch off. such as brown is second led, you switch on second led for brown colour, you switch off first, third and fourth leds.
You can test efficiency of 2 to 5 legs 3 colours LED, experiments them with controllers, controllers which make them change colour by adjusting the switches, buttons.
